Trump's support, which he shared in a post on Truth Social, highlights James' credentials, referring to him as a “West Point Graduate, Combat Pilot, Brave Iraq War Veteran, Successful Businessman and Job Creator, and now, as a Highly Respected U.S. Congressman.”

Expressing his appreciation on X, James hailed Trump as “the greatest President of my lifetime,” indicating the significant importance of this endorsement as voters prepare for the approaching primary, with absentee ballots set to be released shortly.

The Republican primary race is highly competitive, with James encountering formidable challengers such as businessman Perry Johnson, former Attorney General Mike Cox, and state senator Aric Nesbitt.
