Complicating matters further, a recent correction was issued following a misleading Fox News report that suggested a dramatic rise in Luria's wealth, which has now been adjusted for accuracy.

The race between Kiggans and Luria is proving to be competitive, as highlighted by a House Majority PAC poll from July showing the candidates in a tight contest for the Virginia 2nd District seat. With the election drawing near, the implications of Kiggans' financial changes may play a pivotal role in voter perceptions.
