An American Navy pilot witnesses how Ukraine's drone hunters are forging the future of war.

Denver, Colorado, March 17, 2026. – Today, Drone Hunters of Kherson made its streaming premiere on the MeidasTouch Network and VALOR Media Network, bringing the frontline story of Ukraine’s counter-drone fight to a national audience.

Produced by former Navy Pilot Kenneth Harbaugh and Charlie Sadoff, with executive producers Denver Riggleman and Sebastian Junger, Drone Hunters of Kherson puts viewers on the front lines of Ukraine’s efforts to defend its citizens against Russia’s drone onslaught. Since Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022,  Russia has targeted Ukraine with more than 57,000 drones. Drone Hunters of Kherson follows Ken Harbaugh, the first American to embed with elite Ukrainian counter-drone units – the 11th “M. Hrushevskyi” Brigade, the 34th Coastal Defense Brigade, and the 30th Marine Corps – as they protect Kherson and Odessa from Russian attacks.

Ukraine has become ground zero of 21st century drone warfare. Armed with thousands of low-cost Iranian drones, Russia has rewritten the rules of modern combat. To protect their people, Ukrainian forces have had to out think and out innovate a relentless enemy. That same threat has now spread. Iranian drones, sharpened by Russian intelligence and upgrades, are targeting American troops and civilians across the Middle East. Ukraine has sent advisors and technology to help America and Gulf states defend against these strikes.

“In the Navy, I flew with the most sophisticated aircraft known to man. But they can’t protect the skies in the drone era,” said producer Ken Harbaugh. “Out of necessity, the Ukrainians are leading the world in counter-drone tactics and technology. America and our allies need to learn from Kyiv quickly if we want to be able to defend the homeland, save lives, and defeat our adversaries. We see the need today in the Middle East. Tomorrow, it could be in the Asia-Pacific or even over our own skies.”

"War is changing in front of our eyes," said executive producer Sebastian Junger. "Every American needs to understand the drone threat we face. Drone Hunters of Kherson shows what modern warfare actually looks like, and why we can no longer afford to look away. Our adversaries are already fighting the next war. Ukraine is showing us how to catch up."

Executive producer Denver Riggleman said, "I went to Ukraine to witness the future of warfare — and found it in the skies over Kherson. At this very moment, Ukraine is writing the playbook that America and our allies will need to survive the next fight. This film is a warning and a wake-up call: the drone threat is here, it's spreading, and the Ukrainians are the ones showing the world how to beat it."
