Republicans and Democrats Unite Against Russian Invasion of Ukraine
All across America, Republicans and Democrats are coming together to put Russia back in its place. Everyone except for Tucker Carlson.
In response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Americans are joining together to stop them in a massive bipartisan effort to halt the expansion of communism and authoritarianism. A majority of American citizens support defending Ukraine from Russian invasion.

Republican and Democrat leaders have taken to Twitter to express their support for the people of Ukraine and America’s unwavering commitment to freedom.
“The people of #Ukraine are tough people who will NEVER accept being ruled by #Putin,” “Men,women, children, the elderly, they are going to fight. And they are going to maim & kill alot of Russians,” tweeted Republican Senator, Marco Rubio.

Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said in a brief interview. “Russia is the aggressor. … Ukraine has every right, as a sovereign nation, to have their borders respected. Russia’s not doing that.”
“We must be unceasingly in our assistance to the Ukrainian people. We must levy crippling sanctions on Russia. And we must cut off Putin and his cronies from the global economy. A strong, swift response is vital,” Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) posted on Twitter.
With bipartisan support, the US has enacted sweeping sanctions to cripple the Russian economy, cutting off oligarchs from their wealth as well as key banks and businesses.

The sanctions are so tough that the Russian ruble has plummeted to a record low against the US dollar and even the stock market has closed for days. These are sanctions beyond any that we have ever levied before.
In addition to the sanctions, President Biden has also stationed 100,000 American troops in Europe, with 15,000 of them near the conflict zone and 3,500 of them flanking NATO's border.

We are coming together to take action to protect our shared values of democracy and freedom.
Everyone except for Tucker Carlson, who has taken to defending Russia, calling them "reasonable." Most Republicans, including his listeners, are paying Carlson no mind. Others are saying he is severely mistaken.
This is one issue on which Americans can agree. Americans will not appease Russia–and Putin's agenda to spread fear, dictatorship, and communism will not be tolerated.
